The VISIONAPARTMENTS 15-Year Anniversary Event: A Night to Remember
To finish off its 15-year anniversary campaign with a bang, VISIONAPARTMENTS celebrated its much-anticipated corporate event this past Saturday, 17 January at Club Aura in downtown Zurich. Some 350 guests – including many clients, business partners, employees, and members of the media – took the company up on its invitation and were treated to quite an evening. They enjoyed a laid-back atmosphere and numerous highlights, including live performances by SEVEN and Snap!
Accompanying those in attendance through the evening's entertainment with no shortage of charm were actress Melanie Winiger and Anja Graf, founder and CEO of VISIONAPARTMENTS. The event began with a discussion round that provided quality insights into the company's history. The participants – Markus Egloff, Graf's initial contact at Credit Suisse, which provided her with her first financing opportunities; Branka Djordjevic, the company's first employee; Jo Layton, an insider in the serviced apartments industry; and Sabrina Kaiser, publisher of ZURICH DELUXE magazine (the anniversary campaign's official media partner) – offered exciting glimpses from behind the scenes, including several that were worth a good laugh.
The aforementioned SEVEN, meanwhile, dedicated his concert to the seven VISIONAPARTMENTS destinations with plenty of funk. For the very first time in a live setting, he and his band played a number of tracks from his new album, which is due out this spring. At that point, it was hard to find anyone still sitting!
The next highlight on the agenda arrived at nine o'clock in the form of the VISIONAPARTMENTS Talent Show, which gave the guests the chance to rock the stage themselves – and they did not disappoint. Singers Elodie Graf and Lagioia Rogantini, dance performers Chris Gee and the troupe Mosaïque Oriental Dancers, and didgeridoo player Martin Tsicane each left the star-studded jury of Zoe Torinesi, DJ Sanja, Clifford Lilley, and Franco Marvulli with goosebumps. Tasked with determining the evening's big winner, the audience ultimately settled on the performance of Christina Aguilera's "Tough Lover" turned in by Rogantini, who can now look forward to a VISIONAPARTMENTS weekend in Berlin.
Those in attendance also had tremendous fun with the activities that took place in the club's foyer, particularly with the selfie machine, the live painting session with artist Courtney Forbes, and the readings offered by two tarot mystics. A full range of gourmet delicacies – including wines and other specialities from VISIONAPARTMENTS' seven destinations – served as the perfect complement to the festivities.
At 11 o'clock, DJ Sanja, resident DJ JSebK, and G-Sax took command of the Club Aura sound system and soon had dancefloor space at a premium. When Snap took the stage just after midnight with worldwide hits like "Rhythm Is a Dancer" and "The Power" in tow, the crowd's inhibitions were officially out the window. The dancing and revelry then continued through the early hours of the morning.
Before calling it an evening, all of the guests received an attractive goodie bag for the journey home and were invited to leave a comment in the guest book. Afterwards, Anja Graf and the others in charge of the event's arrangements all expressed their satisfaction. "It was a one-of-a-kind evening – the mood was fantastic!" said an elated Graf. "We all enjoyed ourselves so much, and it was important to us to give something back and thank everyone who has contributed to VISIONAPARTMENTS' success over the years."
