SWITZERLAND TO OPEN BORDERS JUNE 15TH
We are pleased to spread the great news that the federal government of Switzerland aims to ease the restrictions regarding health precautions and freedom of movement.
As of June 15th, the borders between Switzerland and France, Germany and Austria will become open, including for tourism. Furthermore, starting from July 6th, free movement will expand to all Schengen countries and flights arriving at Geneva, Zurich and Basel will no longer be restricted.
Swiss job market is opening as well; from June 8th, the cantons will begin processing applications from workers from the EU/EFTA member states. In addition, Swiss companies will be allowed to employ highly skilled workers from third countries if this is in the public interest, or if they are urgently required.
