VISIONAPARTMENTS is setting a mark against breast cancer – Pink Ribbon Charity Walk 2018
Every year, 6,000 women in Switzerland are diagnosed with breast cancer and 1,400 cases result in death. This makes breast cancer not only the most common form of cancer, but also the number-one cause of cancer deaths among Swiss females. And not only women, also 40-50 men in Switzerland are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.
To set a mark in the fight against breast cancer and show solidarity to the victims and their families, VISIONAPARTMENTS participated in the eleventh pink ribbon charity walk in Zurich. As a group we lined up in form of a huge pink ribbon in the Stadium Letzigrund to express our compassion - an incredibly emotional moment that will be remembered for a long time. After that, we completed the four-kilometer run and enjoyed a comprehensive program with show acts, music, food, great giveaways and numerous stands and competitions.
During the event, over CHF 90,000 from starting fees and donations was collected for the Zurich Krebsliga. The funds will be used to give advice and financial support to breast cancer patients.
